Route information
Both routes start with an open water swim in the sheltered area of Bowleaze Cove. The swim takes place along one of the most beautiful seaside towns, and will be the perfect start to your race.
Sprint entrants will swim 750m of the course, and Classic entrants 1.5k.
Next, a 20k/40k ride is in order and takes entrants through the dorset countryside, heading out to Preston. Here entrants will encounter Coombe Valley road, Broadmaine, Warmwell, Tadnoll, Crossways and Osmington Mills before returning in to town down the fast White Horse Hill section, be careful and check those brakes before you start!
Finally, it is a 5k/10k run leading entrants out through Waterside Holiday Park and on to Preston road. Here, entrants will follow the signs that take them in to the nature reserve for what is a most beautiful and calming run before making them run up the last hill of the day back in to Bowleaze Cove.
