About
The race starts with a short sharp climb before traversing along a rocky path. It then heads up through the Whangie and onto the top of Auchineden Hill. From the top, seniors will descend to the South and complete a short loop back to the top again. Upon returning to the top they will follow the boggy ridge line before descending sharply to the finish. Juniors will not take the additional loop. The route will be marked and marshalled throughout.

What's included
This year the race will also host the Dumbartonshire Hill running championships. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 men and women, as well as the first finisher in each age group. The junior race is open to juniors aged 14-18 and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 under 16’s and under 18’s.
