Route information
The White Rose Ultra leads runners through the rolling landscape of the Yorkshire Dales. The route largely follows the footpaths and trails of the Pennine Way. The route will be well marked with large A5 signs with hi-vis, blue arrows on a yellow background - so keep an eye out.

Parking: The White Rose Ultra has a very strict parking policy and poor parking can result in disqualification. Due to issues in the passed, when you register you will be asked for your vehicle number to verify you have not illegally parked. **No parking on Gilead Rd.**​
Please arrive early and find a race marshal to help you get parked appropriately.

Please make sure you arrive with plenty of time to find parking, get registered and warmed up before taking on this epic race.

Spectators are more than welcome to come out and cheer you on as you tackle this adventure. However, please be aware that spectators are not allowed in the feed stations as it can cause chaos when too many people are around.

Do I need to bring any paperwork with me to the White Rose Ultra?
Yes photo ID will be required; Driving licence, student id passport etc, at registration you will need to provide your name and address details & an emergency contact.

Will there be cut-off times at the White Rose Ultra?
Yes - but they have not been updated for this year. Last year's cut-off times were as follows: 30 miles = 8 hours, that's 15 miles/4 hours 60 miles = 16 hours, that's 30 miles/8 hours 100 miles 32 hours, that's 50 miles 16 hours or if you do not reach the 60 mile point within 20 hours you will be DQ'd you are not going to magically run the final 40 miles in 10 hours are you?

Do I need to have run an ultra before signing up to the White Rose Ultra?
You must have at least one finish recorded at a UK ultra on a distance of 70k or more on a comparable course, sorry no 'flat' ultras, the finish must be recorded between the dates of 1st November 2017 and October 2018 (yes the 2017 WRU 60 counts)

Yes, unfortunately nobody under the age of 18 is allowed to run this event due to insurance issues.
