Route information
Embrace the beautiful scenery of the Cotswolds on this undulating and challenging course. You will plunge into the beautiful clear waters of Cromhall quarry on Tortworth Estate for an open water swim, before a short transition to the bike where you will tackle challenging, yet rewarding hills before finally running around the quarry on foot. This race will ensure your heart will be pumping hard, tackle the hills to earn your finisher's medal.

The locations of aid stations along the route are as follows:

Trimax Events
Based out of Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean, Trimax Events put on a variety of trail running, road running, and triathlon events throughout the year. Trimax Events are particularly well-regarded for their epic bespoke medals which are awarded to all finisher’s. A number of Trimax events also offer a canicross option, so if you’re looking to race with your canine companion then check out their offering. One of their best known events takes you up Gloucester’s infamous ‘Cheese Rolling Hill’, while a number of their other routes take you through the scenic Cotswold countryside.

When does the Wild Boar Middle Distance & Olympic start?
Both races start at 8:00am so make sure to arrive early enough to set up your transition and to register (opens on the day at 6:30am). If you would prefer, you can also register the day before between 12:30 and 6:30pm and stay over the night in Chepstow

The locations of aid stations along the route are as follows: Bike: 22.5k, 45k, and 67.5k. Run: 5k, 10k, and 15k.
