Take on the slippery 6 mile long Serpent alongside friends and family. Great for runners of all levels, this course wraps itself around the contours of the Smithills Estate. Come for one of the most unique finisher's medals around or to simply take in the stunning views on offer.

The race Starts & Finishes in the Car Park of the Wilton Arms.
- The course is hilly and muddy with several challenging sections, but it is definitely manageable for runners of any ability. The trail route is designed in a snake shape.
- The route passes through Smithills Estate on trail paths which are clearly marked throughout.
- There is a cut-off for the race after 1hr30mins
Registration takes place inside the Wilton Arms:
- 8:30am - 9:45am: Registration is open to collect your chip and bib.
- 10:00am: The Race Starts
In order to have plenty of time to register and to be fully prepared and warmed-up before the race, it is advised that you arrive at least 45 minutes before the race begins.
Spectators are at the heart of this event so please come along and support!
