Route information
This 1 lap route takes runners along a mix of urban and country paths starting right outside the historic Winchester Guildhall in The Broadway. The route takes runners up St George's Street before going out towards the village of Kingsworthy.
The return leg passes through the village of Headbourne Worthy and back towards Winchester before finishing at The North Walls Recreation Centre.

Race Numbers
If you entered before 10th Oct you will receive you number in the post. If you enter after this date you can collect it from in Winchester Town Centre on Saturday 30th Oct or on race morning from a location TBC.
Age Restrictions
The minimum age for entry is 16 years old.
Bag Drop
There will be a bag drop at the start for £2, of which the proceeds go to a local charity who will be manning the bag drop.
Toilets
There will be toilets in the park next to The Broadway and also 100 metres further up the High St opposite Marks and Spencers.

Is there a bag drop at the Winchester 10k?
Yes there is a bag drop at the start. There is a £2 charge which 100% of the proceeds go to a local charity running the bag drop.
Do I need to register in the morning for the Winchester 10k?
Not if you have received your number in the post. If you haven't received it ahead of time, you'll need to register at race HQ at Alexandra Sports Shop.
Can I run with my dog at the Winchester 10k?
Sorry no dogs allowed at this event, the only acceptation is disability dogs (such as guide dogs are permitted)
Can I wear headphones to the Winchester 10k?
In ear or over ear headphones are not permitted under UKA rules and if a runner is seen wearing this type of head phones they will be disqualified
What happens if I want a refund or to cancel my entry to the Winchester 10k?

Are there any age restrictions for the Winchester 10k?
Yes, this event is only open to runners aged 16 or over.
Will there be toilets at the Winchester 10k?
Yes, there'll be public toilets in the park next to The Broadway opened for this event. There are also toilets on the High St opposite Marks and Spencer.
Can I run with a buggy at the Winchester 10k?
Unfortunately this route is not suitable for racing with buggies.
