Route information
The race starts on the High Street outside the Guildhall in Winchester city centre, creating a wonderful atmosphere as you warm up and start the race.
Runners will head through Romsey Road and Sparsholt Road as they head out of Winchester. This is a scenic route through the surrounding countryside that will take in a variety of terrain. Enjoy passing some historic sites such as St Catherine's Hill, Winchester Cathedral, and King Alfred the Great's Monument.
After a tough but brilliant run you will then snake your way back to the Guildhall for a spectacular city centre finish.
With the Children's 1k Fun Run also available, this really is an event for the whole family.

The Guildhall is located in the centre of Winchester, and can be accessed from the M3, A34 or the A31.
Parking
Pay and display car parks are available in the town centre.
By Train
Winchester train station is a 15 minute walk from the race HQ.
Event day logistics
10:00 Half Marathon starts
* Hilly 10k & Fun Run start time TBC.
Age Restrictions
You must be at least 17 years old to take part in the Half Marathon and aged 15 or over to take part in the 10k. Children must be at least 2 to take part in the Fun Run.
Pacers
There will be pacers along the route who you'll be able to follow. Pacers will be wearing bright coloured T-shirts.
On-site Facilities
There will be plenty of toilets at the race village, Winchester Guildhall and along the route at Garnier Road Car Park.
There won't be any showers.

Yeah, the aid stations are covered in orange "easy storage" banners this year. You won't miss them! And they'll have gels and water
