Windmill 10K route

Event Details

The event first ran in 2011 with 500 runners lining the route. It was a very memorable day with a respectful two minutes silence before the start, then runners set off taking in some great sights of this lovely town including the iconic Lytham Windmill and the stunning Fairhaven Lake. Due to the success and feedback from runners it is now an annual event. The 2017 event saw an entry of 1550, so it is growing in popularity year on year. We hope the event continues to grow and look forward to welcoming new runners every year. The event sold out 5 weeks before the day in 2017, so be sure to enter early to avoid disappointment.

Great. Flood defences changed the original route but it all worked ok. 2019 will be awesome when the works are completed.
