A great race to discover a new area and also being a Olympic 2012 location ! No really crawled, which allows to run comfortable. Maybe the price quiet high without race bag or complemetary service
  • Did the event in 2019

Race was ok - nice and flat with tarmac paths. The challenge is that there was 2 races going on and everyone was looping around the circuit (4.5 times at various paces). The finish wasnt at all hugely apparent and I ended up going around again until my watch confirmed I had competed the distance - unfortunately my official time suggested it was at least a few mins slower than reality. Was a huge disappointment to completing a sub90 Pb.
  • Did the event in 2019

My first ever half marathon and the 6th time i've ever in my life, ran outdoors. A great first experience.
  • Did the event in 2019

Easy to park, and delivered on the promise of a very flat and trouble free course. Only builds for next time would be clearer mile markers defining distance passed by race. There were several markers up but it was unclear over whether it was the half or 20 miler. Also I heard confusion on the way round from fellow runners over how many laps they needed to run for the 20 mile race and they felt this hadn't been briefed correctly.
  • Did the event in 2019

Course was nice, the gels i brought with me were inedible so having some available on the run was a saviour for me.
  • Did the event in 2019

Nice course around the lake. It's flat so no concern about hills. Only down side is it's 4.5 loops of the lake so the scenery is a bit repetitive. Still a good race to do.
  • Did the event in 2019

I think that you must to organiser better the indications when someone arrive to final line because I asked at 100 mt to final line in which part I had to go but anyone helped me and I turned in wrong way losting my precious minutes during the race. And it happened not only to me.
  • Did the event in 2019

A bit disappointed with the organiser! No sign for half marathon considering its 1000 people race. We travelled some distance and spent some time to find the clubhouse. My husband came back to pick up nearly the finish, but no one open the gate to let him get in, so he had to park miles away and pushed our little son walking a couple miles and missed my finish time. Disappointing!
  • Did the event in 2019

Great race. Does exactly what it says on the tin - laps, flat, great support! The perfect race for beginners or seasoned marathon runners in training. Thanks folks x
  • Did the 5km in 2017

Was a great although very windy event. Great course and well set up. Fab support all the way around.
