  • Did the Olympic in 2018

It was a little disappointing that the running was less than 10/5k; I take this based on my own instruments and many others that I spoke with after. Fantastic ability to quickly print off your times in the tent after; by just entering your bib number. Having all runners start at 8:30 is a nice concept; but it creates carnage at the start; actually breaking this down just a tiny amount would make all the different. Perhaps release around a 1/3 of people at 8:30, then at 8:31 and 8:32. Or release them based on type of event they are doing.Again doesnt need to be exact but would make passing people easier and less danger of tripping, and transition less obstructive. There was no water station when on the bike which was a shame; this could just be a small table as you come over the bridge from completing a lap, where the 2 attendants directed you left could look after this, there would be space and keeps those doing 40k hydrated.
  • Did the Olympic in 2018

Really enjoyed the event. Liked the relaxed approach. Fun doing an event in November, guess we lucked out with the weather. One big negative was the distances. The first run was only 8.6km, second run only 4.4km. Cant imagine it would have been difficult to fix, especially as the second run was just around a cone.
  • Did the Olympic in 2018

Great event with a super fun route. Run distances seemed a bit short at 9km/4.5km. No complaints as the run is my weak point but made it hard to figure out in the opening stages.

I was well informed before the race and the course was nice and easy to navigate
