Did the Sprint Duathlon in 2021
Well organised event, would recommend and do again. Suggest get there 30 mins before start time to register and set up in transition. Very helpful Marshall’s at all times.
Did the Half Marathon in 2021
The volunteers were amazing and so encouraging and so patient as they waited for all the runners to finish. My first half in 2 years due to COVID. As there were so few runners, there was no atmosphere. Not the fault of organisers but had an impact on my race.
Did the 5k in 2021
Disappointed with lack of competitors - followed postcode that took us nowhere near the venue - so only had a short time before event. Lack of marshals on course over far side and the course has now been deemed long. A lot of money to get no better race than if attended a park run
Did the Super Sprint Duathlon in 2021
Lovely course and nice atmosphere. As a beginner, I was nervous about being right at the back, but as there were 3 different distances on the day, it felt more like a fun activity instead of a competitive race!Lots of friendly people. Lots of people saying "congrats" and "keep going" to me during my final run!I will definitely do this course again.

A well organised event. Whattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!
Did the Standard Duathlon in 2018
It was a little disappointing that the running was less than 10/5k; I take this based on my own instruments and many others that I spoke with after. Fantastic ability to quickly print off your times in the tent after; by just entering your bib number. Having all runners start at 8:30 is a nice concept; but it creates carnage at the start; actually breaking this down just a tiny amount would make all the different. Perhaps release around a 1/3 of people at 8:30, then at 8:31 and 8:32. Or release them based on type of event they are doing.Again doesnt need to be exact but would make passing people easier and less danger of tripping, and transition less obstructive. There was no water station when on the bike which was a shame; this could just be a small table as you come over the bridge from completing a lap, where the 2 attendants directed you left could look after this, there would be space and keeps those doing 40k hydrated.

Really enjoyed the event. Liked the relaxed approach. Fun doing an event in November, guess we lucked out with the weather. One big negative was the distances. The first run was only 8.6km, second run only 4.4km. Cant imagine it would have been difficult to fix, especially as the second run was just around a cone.

Great event with a super fun route. Run distances seemed a bit short at 9km/4.5km. No complaints as the run is my weak point but made it hard to figure out in the opening stages.

I was well informed before the race and the course was nice and easy to navigate
