As always with RunUK this was a good one. They always provide great value for money and love that. I'm not looking for an event with all the fancy frills - just something that does the basics well and this was it :)

My first ever finisher's medal and it was a corker. The 10k was my first ever event and I loved it. The organiser's made everything feel so easy and really calmed my nerves. It is a great course and I can't believe I raced at an olympic venue. Big thumps up!

Only quarm for this one was that there weren't that many water stations but I'm sure that could be improved. Quite nice running around Dorney lake with people supporting and people on the lake. Very nice and cool too!

Ok, so a Half marathon is a BLOODY LONG WAY!!!! This was my first ever attempt and I had done absolutely ZERO TRAINING....this was a mistake! But the super volunteers and the fact my family came to watch made all the difference! It actually helped alot having laps as it really gave them a chance to support me...several times over! This spurred me along and turned what could have been a disaster day into a great one!

To compete at an Olympic Venue has always been a personal goal of mine. I had to get down to Dorney Lake and take on this fast and flat course. The post-race goodies and medal were the perfect end to a perfect day.

Would come back to this race as it's very well organised and the team are really friendly. Good support from volunteers along the way during a few low moments on the run really helped give me a boost and kept me going!

If you want good value then this is the event. Has all the participant amenities you need and on top of that the course, the race and the organisers were all just brilliant. Can't wait to have another crack at it.
