Well organised, friendly atmosphere and free parking. The course is flat and laps of the lake so good for beginners.

A lovely course, the 10K consists two laps of the lakes from left to right coming back through the central path, these are the Olympic Rowing lakes of 2012. At the famous location belonging to Eton College - interesting! The course itself is flat and fast, although the home straight is 1.5 miles long and the boathouse in the distance never seems to get any closer! You either love that or hate it! Well organised, friendly groups, thoroughly recommend any endurance events at this venue. AAA+++

A bit disappointing. Closed roads so not sure why the start was so early for a winter race - it was barely light. Struggled to find my way to the start as there was no signage around the pitch black lake. Run involved several dead turns which isn’t ideal. They also promised trophies for the top 3 but after waiting in very cold conditions, the prize was actually a voucher for money off the next F3 event.!

Course is pretty boring as it's 4 laps of the same course. Have not had my result or time emailed to me. Good course for a pb and marathon prep

They didn’t have my registration so while I could race, I had to wait 20 mins for my crappy handwritten number. Not conducive to getting in a good place before the race and nowhere near the organization required for a £55 event. The cut off time is also extremely tight. While I made it, several people didn’t which meant you had people finish the race “ahead” of you even though they had completed all of the bike course. Then when I went to get my bag, they had just piled all of the running race bags on top of the duathlon bags. Pretty poor really.

£55 for a ride and run is expensive but I accepted that. However, the £6 booking fee is off putting. No matter how the organisers want to pretty up the additional costs with justification words. The £55 is more than full value and the £5 booking fee at the end of the process is off putting.

The race was pretty good with really good Pacers. The volunteers and marshals made it even more special. The instructions were all pretty clear. The only disappointment for me was no post running goodies (apart from the medal and a bottle of water) and not even a banana was offered after finishing a half marathon race. But, overall it was a fantastic event and the weather was awesome too.

Very well organised, fast course and overall a great race. Need to start near the front if you don't want to get held up - makes for a fast start

As a beginner this course is excellent, l was nervous and anxious but the atmosphere put me at ease. People were friendly and encouraging. Highly recommend and l will be returning later in the year.

Great marshals and friendly atmosphere. Definitely one for a PB, not the most scenic but then again - its flat! Not so many people as to get in your way and quite a few pace makers for 300 odd runners if running slower than 1:35.Note: they set off a 5K, 10K and 15K shortly after the half marathon start and they run on the same roads - expect more casual runners (lots of headphones)
