Did the race in 2019
The course is brilliant, 3 big climbs and a wide round route with a few tricky descents. Navigation isnt difficult with the 1:25000 map provided. This year everyone was made to wear their full waterproofs at the start pen, what a great idea to ensure safety and fairness for those runners who dump them after kit check.My only gripe is not disqualifying runners who made route errors and missed out registering at remote checkpoints. Even the overall winner didnt spend time to find the first dibber that was just behind the Trig, too obsessed with winning and not organisers rules and safety monitoring.Thanks for a brilliant race, Andy.
