Route information
This 40-42 mile Ultra event will take runners and walkers from the coastal village of Aberdyfi up the beautiful coastal path, taking in the seafront at Tywyn, the village of Fairbourne, the famous Fairborne bridge, Barmouth, to the castle town of Harlech.
Marathon
For those wanting a different challenge, there will also be a marathon on offer where runners will travel from Aberdyfi to Barmouth.
For those of you returning to the Castle – Belt Buckles will be awarded instead of the traditional medal.

The start line is located just 200 yards from Aberdfyi train station.
There is also a connecting train station in Harlech approx 200 yards from the finish.
Parking
There is a car park within the main village (LL35 0NR).
Event day logistics
07:15 Bag drop and registration opens

1 bag per runner will be transported from the start to the finish line to ensure runners have some dry kit for after the race.
Race Instructions
Full race instructions will be emailed out to participants in the 7-10 days leading up to the event.
The organisers reserve the right to move the venue of the event to a different location.
Cut-off Time
There will be a cut-off time of 12 hours for the event.
Aid Stations
There will be 4 aid stations along the route which will be stocked with food and drinks.
Age Restrictions
Entrants must be 18 and older to enter the event.
