Route information
This 10K route along the Wirral Way Trail Path that follows an old historic railway track, is a fantastic introduction to trail running for you to tackle this summer.
The trail is well-known as a beautiful way to discover the coastline, the history, and the heritage of the rural countryside that it runs through. The route is out and back, starting and ending in Wirral County Park, and will provide runners with glorious views of Wales over the Dee Estuary.
The Cheshire Live Steamers, a steam engine model club, will be onsite to provide participants with a fun new way to learn and interact with steam engines after running along the historic railroad.
