Route information
100k
Those who have tackled the Ride the Night event in the past will find the 100k route very similar to previous years.
This circular route starts and ends at the Royal Windsor Racecourse. Riding past Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, the West-End theatres and many more iconic landmarks, this course will give you a tour of London under the night lights.
50k
While the 50k ride starts at the Royal Windsor Racecourse, you'll find yourself gliding over the finish line in the midst of central London.
Don't worry about finishing in London though, a free shuttle bus will take you and your bike back to Windsor after your triumphant night of racing.
Sponsorship Funding
Participants pay a non-refundable registration fee of £45 which is used to secure your place on the event.
There’s no minimum sponsorship target or deadline, but please aim for £100 or more, so that your challenge can make a difference for people affected by cancer.
The money you raise is split evenly between the three charities and will go a long way to help them continue their vital work in a critical time...
£30 could buy a bottle of specialist dye to stain cancer cells, so that Ovarian Cancer Action’s researchers can study them with a microscope.
£100 can enable Breast Cancer Now to send out another 1,000 leaflets to GPs to promote breast checking and inform about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer.
£500 will enable Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust to provide a weekend of training to two new Helpline volunteers supporting hundreds of women.
Join the 500 club!
If you raise £500 or more by 29th March 2023, you will get a free official 500 club cycling jersey.

Great event, very well organised, fab support & food.We have had an apology re bike repatriation & understand it had not been done before.Having said that those involved were ever cheerful & helpful, couldn't have done more in the circumstances. Potholes only complaint, but that is an issue countrywide & not your Fault!

I loved the experience and would definitely do it again. The only small thing was the bike repatriation at the end back at Windsor which took a long time. However I have had the e mail apologising and am sure this will be rectified on another occasion. It was such a well organised event and for such a good cause. Well done to all involved.

The signage of the route and the Marshalls at tricky junctions were fantastic and it gave you confidence that you wouldn’t get lost. The only very minor issue was the speed of registration at the start of the event.

Superb ride, only concern was no organised pick up of bike before start and queue to the start line. Lots of people pushing into earlier slots. Disappointed at that point.

The start line is awful, we were in the 10pm wave and we’re nearly an hour late leaving. It’s not fair to make nervous people stand around for they long. If it is 11 o’clock, set the start to 11 o’clock. As first timers we did not know what to expect. The first two food stops were awful, did not cater for vegans which is really dated and ridiculous and the toilers we’re not clean. the last food stop there was a sign which said 10km to go. This was completely untrue. After 10km there was another to say 5km to go - again not true! Everything else with this event, the course, and volunteers was amazing, and I would do it again, but the things I’ve mentioned were really big as far as I am concerned. Next time I will need to carry more ‘baggage’ for food if for sone reason vegans cannot be catered for - or maybe look for another event instead

I really enjoyed the whole experience from the start in Windsor to the end of the ride. There was a great atmosphere throughout. May consider the overnight camping another time, as I hadn’t realised that was an option! Great cake too!
