Having never taken part in a trailoutlaws event I wasnt sure what to expect however I was really pleased with the marshall support and thought the whole event was ran very well. The coarse was very well marked and the route was challenging! Sweets and refreshments at aid stations (3 or 4 can't remember) Soup at the end of the 28.8 miles was a delight! I met plenty of nice people on the way round. Would recommend. Good medal and nice t shirt. Thanks

The race went well. However I would use more aggressive trail shoes next time. Mine didnt quite live up to the wet conditions.

I also ran in 2016 & 2017, and all 3 events were fantastic in every way: organisation, scenery, challenge and atmosphere. Just save your legs until the Cheviot is my advice! But definitely worth the trip, just like the Dark Skies marathon at Kielder which is another favourite event of theirs.

When I got up on the hills the views provided an incredible boost! Stunning scenery throughout.
