Distance: Tintern Old Station Routes; Marathon & Half Marathon Elevation: Undulating Terrain: Paths Laps: 2 / 1
The Marathon and Half Marathon courses will take runners on a lovely and varied route featuring quiet country lanes, forest track, old railway paths, and old railway tunnels.
Distance: Wye Valley View Routes; Half Marathon & 10km Elevation: Flat Terrain: Predominantly tarmac Laps: 1
This out-and-back 10k route features quiet country lanes and the Floral Mile lined with wildflowers for the first kilometer before reaching the Tidenham Tunnel for 3k. After leaving the tunnel there'll be a lovely stretch of forest paths and then the drinks station at 5k where runners will turn around and head back to Wyedean School.

Wyedean School is easily accessible from the A48 just outside of Chepstow.
The Wye Valley Tunnel Run is 25mins from Bristol, 40mins from Bath, 40mins from Cardiff and 2hrs 15mins from London.
Parking
Parking is at Wydedean School and will cost £2 per car payable to the schools used.
By Public Transport
The nearest train station is Chepstow, which is 1 mile from the start line. Chepstow has regular services to Cardiff, Cheltenham and Nottingham.

In the event of cancellation all entries will be rolled over to the same event the following year or a choice of alternative races will be made available within 12 months of the original race date if you are not able to make the new date.
Race Briefing
There will be a race briefing 5 minutes before each wave.
Age Requirements
There are various age requirements for this event, which are as follows:
- 10km - 15 and over
- Half Marathon - 17 and over
- Marathon - 18 and over
Cut-Off Times
There are no cut-off times for this event, however, please note that this event is not open to people who intend to walk the entire route. A mixture of walking, jogging and running is of course allowed.
Water Station
There will be 1 aid stations on the Valley View 10km route, 3 on the Valley View Half, 5 on the Tintern Station Half marathon route and 11 on the marathon route. These will provide water, electrolytes and a range of snacks to runners.
Prize Categories
The final number of prizes awarded is determined by the number of finishers for each gender in a given race distance. If there are more than 100 finishers then the full range of awards is on offer. If there are less than 50-100 finishers then the top 3 finishers overall will be awarded a prize. If there are less than 50, then only the winner will be awarded a prize.
The organiser does not have any winner's prizes for any of the children's events as they would like to keep the races participation focused.

Can I bring my buggy/pushchair to the Wye Valley Tunnel Run?
Yes, buggies are welcome at the event, but it asked that you start near the back of the race.
How old do I have to be to enter the Wye Valley Tunnel Run?
Entrants must be 15 and older to enter the 10k and 12 and older to enter the 5k.
Is there a cut-off time for the Wye Valley Tunnel Run?
No, there is no cut-off time, and if runners choose to jog part of the route and walk part of the route thats great! Please note that the event is not suitable for only walkers.
