Explore the secret scenic trails of the National Forest Bignall's Forest on the Staunton Harold Estate. Quiet and away from the world, we'll take you weaving through the woods and then enjoy the sights of the stunning intimate stately Staunton Harold Hall.

The Registration will be near the Transition area in front of the Hall.
Age Requirements
Age as of 31st December 2023

10k canicross/trail run: Entrants must be 15 years of age or older in order to participate.

5k canicross/trail run: Entrants must be 11 years of age or older in order to participate

2.5k canicross/trail run: All ages are welcome

XC Standard Duathlon: Entrants must be 17 years of age or older in order to partcipate

XC Sprint Duathlon: Entrants must be 15 years of age or older in order to participate
Kids Duathlon - please enter your child into the correct race. This is their age on the 31st December 2023 - NOT their age on race day.
Bag Drop

Canicross & trail runs: Please ensure you have attached your Baggage Label (to be detached from your Race Number) and hand over to the person behind registrations.

Duathlon events: Please rack your bike on the morning of your event. In your race pack will receive a luggage label please put this on your bag and drop off in the clearly marked area bag drop in transition. This area is secure, participants will only have access to this area however please note the organiser does not accept any responsibility for loss, theft of breakages.
Race insurance
It is required by the governing body British Triathlon Federation that entrants be insured whilst competing in their permitted events. If you already have a BTF membership, please enter your registration number at checkout. Alternatively, you can purchase a day license for £6, which will be payable at the checkout.
Presentations and Prizes
- Trail Run Races: Prizes will be awarded to the fastest 3 Males & Females overall for each distance.
- Canicross Run Races: Prizes will be awarded to the fastest 1st Male/Pooch and 1st Female/Pooch in each Canicross race.
- Duathlon Races: Prizes 1st, 2nd and 3rd Overall Female & Male in each event. Prizes 1st Male & Female in each age group 15-16yrs,17-19, 20-29, 30-39 and so on. Relay Categories 1st in each - Family/Club/Corporate.
Spectator Info
This is a very spectator-friendly event. There will be access to watch your family and friends on the whole of the course.
The Staunton Harold Estate includes a stunning 17th century church, the Staunton Harold Garden Centre and the Ferrers Centre featuring independent shops, eateries, a deli and much more.
Kit List
All of the events are off-road so you will need grippy running shoes (ideally trail shoes), and a mountain bike. Road, cyclocross bikes and hybrid bikes are not permitted, and neither are power-assisted cycles. As for what you wear, it’s up to you – just needs to be something that you can comfortably run and ride in.
