Route information
This unique Wild Running Yoga Retreat is the perfect event for any yoga and running enthusiasts. With multiple runs and yoga classes, as well as plenty of time to relax and enjoy the stunning location, this weekend can be enjoyed by all.
Yoga will be led by qualified instructors where there will be a minimum of 2 yoga sessions a day.
There will also experienced trail and fell runners who will guide the runs, and optional navigational workshops and route planning for those who want it.
The High Nature Reserve
Situated just a short walk from cultural heritage sites and stunning scenery, the centre overlooks Gara Rocks. Also within walking distance is the ancient Celtic field system positioned on Deckler's Cliff, which dates back from 300 BC, which have survived due to their proximity to the cliff edge, and are therefore protected from certain farming methods. There are also the remains of hut circles, as well as further evidence of prehistoric inhabitants.
The centre is host to 6 x 30m polytunnels, five of which are covered, and one of which has been converted to keep chickens and ducks in one half, and passive solar showers in the other half.
The site also has a borehole linked to a collector tank, mains water and electricity throughout the site, composting toilets and a static caravan which is used as a site office.
