Course on roads/lanes, a few hills. 4 aid stations reasonably evenly spaced - well stocked. Cupless event - so bring water bottle to refill with water or squash. Small rural marathon - so bring bone conduction headphones and music - and chat to other runners when you can! Suffolk Running Centre has excellent facilities (WC’s, showers, merch store). Thanks Stephen for personally congratulating me at the finish with a handshake and medal! Thanks Zoe for selling me the merch I needed just before the start!!

It was well organised and people are lovely. There is no atmosphere as it’s a small event. This isn’t a negative. It’s just a fact. There was good energy at the base camp and water stations but if you are looking for supporter involvement it wasn’t the case. This was on the marathon.
