Race For Life 5k – CardiffFeeder Canal Trail, Cardiff CF10 3NB, UK

This is a 5k suitable for all abilities. This is thousands of women uniting with one purpose. Walk, jog or run. Raise valuable funds for research.

The Cardiff route takes a scenic tour around the stunning Bute Park in the heart of the City of Cardiff, following the River Taff into neighbouring Pontcanna Fields. Lush grassy, flat terrain and such close proximity to the attractions of Cardiff Centre make this an extremely popular event with a fantastic atmosphere.

Dont forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. They can stroll around the stalls and activities we'll have such as refreshments, a bouncy castle, facepainting while listening to Heart as they wait to cheer you through the finish. Then afterwards you can stay, perhaps have a picnic in the park and reflect on your achievement and reason for taking part.

Cheddar Gorge ChallengeCliff Top Gorge Walk, Cheddar BA5 3BT, UK

The Cheddar Gorge Challenge has been taking places for the last 4 years across a series of summer dates. This year we are focusing on one date as we continue to expand our race series to new locations.

We have a NEW start/finish location, with accessible parking just a short flat walk to registration and the start line. The routes will remain largely unchanged as we are able to jump onto the existing routes from our new base, though as we are effectively starting mid way round the old courses, you will see the route in a differnt and arguably less hilly light.

NEW for 2017, the Cheddar Gorge Challenge in joining the National Trust's South West Outdoor Festival (SWOF). This is a celebration of everything outdoors with trail races, sportives, camping, live music, guest speakers, food foraging, axe throwing (not in the direction of the runners...the race is tough enough) and many others activities taking place across the long weekend of 8th - 10th September 2017.

Sri Chinmoy Bristol 2 Mile Race – June3 Park Ave, Bristol BS5 6QL, UK

Sri Chinmoy Races in Bristol take place on weekday evenings every Summer between early May and late July on the "Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile" in Eastville Park (map at bottom of this page).

For 2018 we once again have two 2 mile races, a 5k and a 3 x 1 mile relay which is open to any team of three runners (and is loads of fun - the highlight of the series!). It is affectionately being called the Ice Cream Relay as every runner gets a free ice cream at the end of the race. The junior runners love this race!

The course is an accurately measured, undulating 1-mile pavement loop around the perimeter of the park. Shaded by trees for much of its length, the course is perfect for summer evening racing or speedwork.
