There are mysterious sounds and sightings being reported around Sheffield. Its up to you and only you to save yourself from the figures lurking in the shadows. We predict that the zombies will attack Sheffield on Saturday 27th October 2018, so its up to you to gather your troops and take on the zombies. The undead will be lurking in the shadows of the trees for an estimated 5km. Are you ready to run for your life? Each runner will be equipped with a utility life belt which contains three life tags. The zombies throughout the course will be aiming to steal your life tags and youll have to be nimble and quick to make it past the infected hordes. If you lose all three dont worry the virus is slow to take effect and you should have time to complete the race. You will still be infected, but our decontamination team will do their best to reverse the effects at the finish line. We promise: 1. Zombies will only ever take one life tag at a time 2. There will be no intentional physical contact between Zombies and Runners 3. Zombies will never intentionally obstruct you The decontamination team will meet you at the finish with your medal and with a FREE glass of celebratory decontamination fizz. There will also be plenty of cake to replace some of the energy you've burned, and your own Survival Certificate. Run on your own, as a pair or in a team. Totally traffic-free, fast and flat route. No time limits, no age restrictions, no pressure - just LOADS of fun. Come and join us! Full route details will be emailed out one week before the event, but the race will start & finish on the canal towpath behind The Source (within a short walking distance of Meadowhall). Fast, flat & beautiful course with huge PB potential.

The 10k route is The Longhorn race in reverse, the 10-mile race is the 10k route with an extra 4 miles added through more of the estates ancient woodland. The route includes a few hills to offer a small challenge around the course in some of the most scenic Nottinghamshire countryside as well as the forest & past the lake.
The Autumn colors should make this a race to remember in this natural area of beauty. The race takes you into Nottinghamshire's National Nature Reserve, through private areas that were once part of the 10,000 acres Royal Forest of Sherwood where the woodland is dominated by native Oaks as well as other native trees including Silver Birch, Rowan, Holly, and Hawthorn. The reserve is also the site of Europe's oldest Oak tree plantation, containing over 1000 Oaks most of which are over 500 years old! Look out for the Longhorn Cattle of Thoresby Estate, who usually roam free in the forest, in their restricted fields for the race.

The lovely village of Slaithwaite provides the perfect setting for another out and back along the canal. The lovely mill town captures the North in every sense, friendly folk, beautiful hillsides and plenty of tea shops, what more could anyone ask for.
"Slaithwaite (pronounced 'slawit' or 'Slaithwaite' by locals) is a true "Yorkshire grit" mill town straddled by the viaduct and bisected by the canal. Slaithwaite retains its essential character, despite being used as the setting for the television series, "Where the Heart is" and for some of "Last of the Summer Wine". A lovely church, the fine 17th Century Dartmouth Estate Manor House, and other buildings dating from the 18th Century combine with large central mills to give quality to this industrial village that was once home to Luddites".
Three fantastic trail running events throughout the Autumn in some of the most spectacular and scenic areas in the Peak District National Park. We hope to introduce you to some new tracks, trails and places which you didn't know existed! We aim for courses to be off road in quiet countryside - we want you to see and hear nature at its very best. Each event will have long (14-17km) and short (5-7km) courses. The terrain will be predominantly smooth tracks, paths and trails, but you should expect the occasional rough section and short sections of connecting country lanes. Each course will have some climb but any hills will be runnable rather than impossibly steep!
