Adventure Championships Triathlon

Will you conquer &#x27;the toughest physical challenge in the UK&#x27; - the Snowman Legend 71.6 this year?This epic race holds a special place in the hearts of everyone who has experienced it and features everything that makes this Always Aim High event one of the &#x27;must do&#x27; races of the season!Featuring a breathtaking swim in Llyn Mymbyr at Plas y Brenin (the national mountaineering centre), the competitors then take on a truly epic cycle through the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. For competitors taking part in the Legend 71.6 and Full distance races, the Snowman offers one of the toughest &#x27;runs&#x27; the UK has to offer - to the summit of Moel Siabod and straight back down to the finish line at Plas y Brenin! Sprint runners will race on a much flatter, but equally stunning course.

The Cholmondeley event attracts over 1600 competitors to the beautiful countryside of Cheshire, offering the quintessential Castle Triathlon Series experience of competitive and fun racing, an epic castle backdrop and a stunning rural location. All races at the 200-year-old Cholmondeley Castle start by launching into an open-water swim in Deer Park Mere Lake, transitioning on to a bike route that circumnavigates Bickerton Hill, which is the southern most tip of the Peckforton Hlls. There will be one cycle lap for the Super Sprint and two laps for both the Sprint Plus and Olympic distances. The run passes through the estate grounds, which date back to the 12th Century, and has one lap for the Super Sprint and two laps for the Sprint Plus and Olympic races. Triathletes will finish their Cholmondeley race experience by sprinting down the main lawn to the finish line with Cholmondeley Castle as a fitting backdrop. The Cholmondeley Castle Triathlon takes place in the beautiful grounds of Cholmondeley Castle, where the Cholmondeley family have resided since the Norman era of the 12th Century. The estate features extensive parkland covering 500 acres including two lakes, the larger of which, Deer Park Mere, is the setting for the open-water swim section of the triathlon.To the south of Cholmondeley Castle, Tower Hill is the highest point of the run section, where athletes will be rewarded with panoramic views of the Beeston and Peckforton Hills, which they will have just covered on the undulating bike section, with the Welsh Hills looming in the distance.

The Shropshire Triathlon has been held at the fabulous venue of The Mere at Ellesmere since 1992.The Pink Wave:UK Triathlon has dedicated a section of the event solely to The Pink Wave and is working in partnership with Cancer Research UK to raise money for research into all 200 types of cancer. We welcome &amp; want to encourage all women to have a go! Any age, any abilities. High 5&#x27;s, cheers, and a lot of pink guaranteed!

Under the castle&#x27;s watchful eye, the Harlech Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon is one of the best loved races on the triathlon calendar.Fast and fun this event is both a perfect beginner triathlon or duathlon and a chance for the more competitive to grab a Personal Best.The Sprint Triathlon begins with a 400-metre swim in Harlech swimming pool, followed by a beautiful 21km cycle and an impressive 6km run which finishes with the famous ‘Storm the Castle”.Featuring the same stunning cycle route as the triathlon, but sandwiched between two great run routes, the Harlech duathlon has proven to be a hugely popular race.Harlech is a small town with a big heart and this triathlon represents it perfectly!
