This race is legendary. It is as brutal as it is beautiful and has challenged and delighted cyclists in equal measure for almost a decade. The ride is a fully supported circuit and you'll climb almost 4,500 metres over the 235km.

There are some truly epic climbs with none more fearsome than Falls Creek. You'll also have to take on Tawonga Gap and the ever challenging Mount Hotham. This race really is not for the light hearted with an elevation profile comparable to a grand tour stage and a rigidly enforced 13 hour cut off.

For those who want a really huge challenge you can't go far wrong with this stunning and savage race.
