The Lilleshall Monumental 10K, now in its ninth year loops around this beautiful historic village. It has raised over 14,000 for local sporting facilities. The route follows remnants of the industrial revolution weaving its way along disused canal paths, past ponds, through woods and onwards past the eleventh century church and then on up to the iconic monument itself, which boasts one of the best views in Shropshire.
The multi terrain course is chip timed well marshalled and has a water station. Free car parking is provided. As well as category prizes we have a goody bag for all 10k finishers and a free massage courtesy of Stafford University Physios.. There is also a fun run, entry on the day, for young and old at 10.45am.A free 'tots and toddlers' event takes place just prior to the 10k start at 11.30.
A barbeque and cake stall will be in operation, or for those who'd prefer, the bar at the cricket club will be open. A great friendly fun day, don't miss it!
