Quicksilver organises quality running events which allow entrants to participate in enjoyable races with the potential to perform at the top of their ability.
Our current portfolio covers distances from 10k to half marathon. All races organised by Quicksilver running are on professionally measured courses certified by the Association of UK Course measurers. The races are run under licence from the UKA.

The Royal Borough of Kingston Half Marathon is run on an officially measured course under a UKA license.

Starting in the famous Ancient Market Place, runners will then cover 5 miles through the historic Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames before crossing over Kingston Bridge and heading up the iconic three mile stretch of the Barge Walk beside the Thames. The race then reaches the magnificent Hampton Court Palace before continuing through Thames Ditton and back towards Kingston for the famous Market Place finish.

The 2018 Royal Borough of Kingston Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday October 7th with a 08.30 AM start before the town gets busy with Sunday shopping. The race route remains the same as per the 2017 event see video clips below! Its a great opportunity to run on a fast and scenic route and chill out afterwards over coffee on the Kingston riverside!

The Quicksilver Hampton Court Half Marathon is the original race in the area. It is a visually stunning race, with many sights to enjoy en route.

The race starts and finishes on Giggs Hill Green in Thames Ditton. It follows a route over pavement, cycle track and riverside path incorporating the historic Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Marketplace, the iconic three mile stretch of the Barge Walk and the magnificent Hampton Court. And King Henry VIII will be there to cheer everyone on.

Its back! Kingstons famous Spring running event with twin runs over 8 and 16 miles.

Quicksilver Running, organisers of the Royal Borough of Kingston Half Marathon are re-introducing the two classic breakfast run distances in Spring 2019. The new Royal Borough of Kingston Spring Raceday takes place on Sunday March 31st with runners completing either one or two laps of the famous Kingston Loop.

The 16 mile race is ideally paced for Marathon training, falling just 4 weeks before the London Marathon and 2 weeks prior to Brighton. The 8 mile is a great introduction to racing over long distances or a shorter distance for those getting ready for 2019 who havent been training heavily over the winter or are recovering from injury.
