The Vale Of Glamorgan Coastal Ultra challenge is to complete a 32-mile linear route along the entire coast of the Vale of Glamorgan. It is suitable for both runners and fast walkers. There is also a short course option of 18.5 miles taking in the second half of the route.

the full course race starts at 08:00 on Saturday morning from Penarth Pier.

From here the route follows the Wales Coastal Path, almost entirely on a trail. It hugs the clifftop passing numerously hidden and rugged bays all the way to the splendid beachside resort of Ogmore-by-sea. The route itself passes 19 beaches, with the final 14 miles traveling along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast with its dramatic cliffs, amazing rock formations, romantic coves and rolling countryside.

The 18.5-mile race starts at 10.30 at Porthkerry Park, Barry.

An ultra-trail footrace starting and finishing in Cardiff, crossing the South Wales Valleys and the Brecon Beacons! A demanding test of endurance over varied and challenging terrain, only suitable for experienced and competent ultra-trail runners. The route has approximately 6400m of ascent and is over 90% on trails. The SW50 is the second half of the SW100 route, starting from the Pont ar Dawe Car Park at the foot of Pen y Fan. 3200m of ascent. The SW100 Walkers/non-competitive, starts at 1500 on Friday with an overall cut off time of 44 hours.

The Gower Coastal Trail Races are three long distance events following the Wales Coastal Path around the Gower Peninsula.

The Gower Ultra 50 race is a complete 50 mile circumnavigation of the stunning Gower peninsula.

The Gower Ultra Bach (Little) follows the final 34 miles of Coast line from the small settlement of Llandimore to the Mumbles.

The Gower Trail Race follows the final 23 miles of the Gower Ultra route from Rhossili to Mumbles.
