The main event is over 2 laps and there's a one lap event for under12s, under 14s, beginners and the not-so-fit! The lap is 2.45km making the main event 4.9km. TThere's a flat start of about 700m before a gradual descent, then a gradual ascent, then a downhill section just prior to the end of the lap.

A one mile loop is followed by a gentle climb up Duffield Bank before descending to do a very short loop past the Holly Bush pub, to return by the same route as the outward journey. Take part in one or more stages of this annual series - and enjoy a superb Tour of the Derwent Valley. 4 days from 26 May. A one lap race with a hill at the start from the Bluebell Inn, Farnah Green, Belper, and at the finish, but with a long downhill run between 1 and 2 miles.

Rowsley, on the A6, is just 2 miles south of Bakewell...of pie & pudding fame!! GOOD PARKING on the COUNCIL CAR PARK, TOILETS & CHANGING. Presentation of awards and T shirts at 11.15pm. A frying pan type of route - out (or should I say UP) along the handle; then a loop of about 2.5 miles; and then DOWN the handle to the finish.

It is unusual in that it includes a time trial on Thursday and the final race is a handicap, based on times recorded in the week, where all of the runners should cross the line together -in theory! 5-9 June. One lap of 3.3 miles on tracks in Horton Country Park, Epsom. The course is basically flat with a slight rise to the finish

This series of 5 races on 5 nights, gets more popular each year. It is unusual in that it includes a time trial on Thursday and the final race is a handicap, based on times recorded in the week, where all of the runners should cross the line together - in theory! 5-9 June. Two laps totalling 3.7 miles on paths in Nonsuch Park. The only rise on the course is on the grass shortly after half way on the lap. There is a long slightly downhill run to the Mansion House near the finish of the lap.

It is unusual in that it includes a time trial on Thursday and the final race is a handicap, based on times recorded in the week, where all of the runners should cross the line together - in theory! 5-9 June. The 2 lap course will be off road along the Hogsmill, King George Playing Fields, West Ewell, with a distance of 3.7 miles.

This time trial is 2.63 miles over 2 laps within Nonsuch Park, all on grass.

Comprising 2 grassland laps totalling 3.25 miles on the playing fields of NESCOT, entrance off Banstead Road. GOOD PARKING, TOILETS and a BAR. Unfortunately, it is NOT POSSIBLE to accept new entries on the night but, if you have run at least one race in the week, you can phone 077 47 77 62 33 by 09.00 on the day to secure a handicap time.

Tour of Epsom & Ewell Race 5

Ewell, Surrey, GB

A 1km loop followed by one mostly rural lap of 9km. This course has been changed slightly at the finish to create a safer environment for runners. All kilometers are marked but water is only provided at the finish. There is a rise between 8km and 9km. There is EXCELLENT OFF-ROAD PARKING and TOILETS, GOOD CHANGING and SHOWERS are available in the clubhouse . Also, you can get bacon sandwiches + tea or coffee after the event.

PLEASE NOTE that this race is one week earlier than in the past in order to avoid the day of the clocks moving back.......21 October 2018

Oxshott Sports Club, Steels Lane, Oxshott, Leatherhead, Surrey KT22 0RF

A very good venue with parking, changing and showers. However, please try to car-share if at all possible. PLease note that cars will not be allowed off the campus until approximately 10.15am, the usual time for the final finishers.

From the A3 Exit at the A244 signposted Leatherhead and follow Copsem Lane over a railway bridge to traffic lights. Keep straight ahead and at the Esso garage on your left, turn immediately right into Steels Lane. Travel for approximately 600m, past crossroads and bright red post box on your left and turn left into the OVSC Entrance. Follow the drive around to the clubhouse. The main carpark is behind the clubhouse.

From the M25 Exit at junction 9 and follow the A244 towards Esher. Pass The Bear public house on your left and follow the road into Oxshott village. At the Esso garage on your right, turn immediately left into Steels Lane . Travel approximately 600m, past crossroads and a bright red post box on your left and turn left into the OVSC Entrance. Follow the drive around to the clubhouse. The main carpark is behind the clubhouse.
