Sportive UK

SportiveUK have come up with the perfect way for you to get your last big bike ride on the clock. Whether it’s the Long 100 or the short 40, there’s something for everyone looking to keep those legs moving. Don’t fancy the full Essex 100 loop? There’s the medium distance of 70 miles that will take you as far as Finchingfield, you’ll be able to tuck into the home made flapjacks, cheeses and crackers. There’s even a fun 15 if you’re not quite up to the 40.

The Ware’s Cambridge? ride is a great way to get your season kickstarted. The challenge of getting to Cambridge from just outside London and then making it back will hopefully give you the extra motivation needed to clock up the 80 mile loop. All three routes are perfect for those looking to take in countryside views, as well as giving you the opportunity on the home stretch to get your average speed up on the rolling roads that lead back to HQ.

Eating a lot of chocolate this Easter? This sportive will help you get your shape back after all those indulgent moments. There is a choice of either 32, 64 or 96 miles depending on your level of fitness.

All three routes take in the spectacular countryside of Hertfordshire – passing through the many quaint villages it has to offer on its quiet, rural roads. The picturesque views will help you tackle the undulating hills these routes have to offer, which should make this one of the more memorable sportives of the season.

Our much talked about feed stops will help you on your way, where you’ll be able top up your bottles and tuck into some of our famous homemade flapjacks, as well as cheese and crackers if you prefer something more savoury.

2015 was Suffolk’s year of cycling, the county is becoming ever more rider friendly and has some absolutely stunning countryside and breathtaking costal views.

Three wonderful routes take in a variety of Suffolk’s best scenery, from forest and coast to quiet countryside lanes. Whether you’re a seasoned spinner, or just enjoy cycling on a weekly basis there’s a route for you.

We’ve decided to start the Suffolk 100 from the county’s reigning “Most Active Town”, Kesgrave. Situated on the edges of Ipswitch, The HQ, Kesgrave Community and Conference Center is not only easily accessible by road and rail but also offers riders virtually traffic free access to the wonderfully quiet country roads this sportive has to offer.

This sportive was our first and we’ve branched out a lot since then, but this ride will always be special to us. This year we’ve done a lot of work tweaking the route. This ride reflects that and it’s 7th birthday should make for the most enjoyable Hertfordshire 100 yet.

Ware’s Cambridge has been one of the most talked about Sportives of recent years, we’ve decided to apply some of that magic to Essex. Ware’s Essex? will take place on Sunday the 6th of October.

We’ve designed this route so that you’ll be able to take advantage of some of the great roads that the 2013 TDF took in and experience some beautifully tarmaced surfaces. Whatever the weather throws at us, this route is made for the beginning of Autumn, keeping your motivation high for the coming months.
