Tri Project

Born out of our own passion for racing we have organised a number of exciting, competitive and fun events that are all about taking part and enjoying the experience with fellow triathletes and club members. Race to win, or race to finish, either way any level of triathlete, regardless of their fitness, can enjoy these events and we hope to see you racing with us over the years.

This is a great race, all run on tarmac roads and suits everyone from children to adults, top club runners to walkers. The race is organised to raise money for the charity, 'Meningitis Now' as Tri Project's, Lee Pearce's father died suddenly from Meninigtis in January 2013. In the first year the race raised £1,000 and last year it raised nearly £1,500 so we hope that the Mad March Hare this year will raise even more. Come and run or walk 5k or 10k, have fun and rasie money for charity.

Thorpe Park Sprint Triathlon Race 1

Thorpe Park has proved to be a fantastic triathlon venue this season so far, so we're delighted to be hosting another sprint distance event on the 16 September 2018, with a relay option also available.

The Zone3 swim is a one-lap 750m course which takes place within Fleet Lake. With good visibility in the water and some great vantage points for spectators, it offers a fantastic opening leg to the triathlon.

The bike is a one-lap 21km course for the sprint distance race which heads out of the park onto the surrounding local roads. It is virtually panned flat, so expect some fast times!

The 5km run consists of two laps for the sprint distance race navigating around the lake on a flat, fully tarmaced path. The final section to the finish line takes competitors right through the center of Thorpe Park.
