One of the most scenic running events in the UK - the route takes in a working Fish Quay, the River Tyne, English Heritage property Tynemouth Priory and Castle and a long stretch of coastline before finishing at St. Mary's Lighthouse in Whitley Bay.

The race starts at The Parks Sports Centre in North Shields before taking in the Fish Quay, River Tyne, Tynemouth Priory and a stretch of coastline before finishing at St. Mary's Lighthouse in Whitley Bay.

Organised by North Tyneside Council with support from Start Fitness and Northumbria Spring Water, the 6.2 mile event features chip timing, results by SMS, video clips and a goody bag with souvenir t-shirt.

The Helmsley 10k is a multi-terrain race partly on road, and partly on forestry track and footpaths and fields. Starts at the Sports and Community Centre, Baxton Lane, Helmsley. Minimum age 15 years. Includes fun run.

The eighth running of the Helmsley 10K Challenge will take place on Easter, Sunday the 1st April 2018 . Last year's Challenge was a huge success with over 350 entrants.

The fourteenth running of the Blyth Valley 10k, now renamed the Port of Blyth 10K will take place on Sunday 8th April 2018 at 10:00am. The race is run from Blyth Quayside to Seaton Sluice and back, along public footpaths and cycle ways. The course is officially ratified; it's very flat and provides an excellent chance of fast times. Ample parking near the start (please follow signs and marshals instructions). Limited changing facilities in new race HQ at Port of Blyth Training Centre.

Come and join RunThrough for the next of the 2018 Tatton 10k series. This fast, undulating, closed road 10k race set at the beautiful Tatton park in Cheshire is a perfect opportunity to get a PB over the 10k distance.

Starting and finishing at Hawkshead, the 17km Hawkshead Trail Race, 17km Hawkshead Trail Challenge and 10km Hawkshead Trail Run follow circuits along well marked and marshalled footpaths and bridleways, taking in panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding peaks of the Coniston Hills, the Langdales and most of the Lakeland fells. All of the routes take in the infamous, mile long, near vertical, killer climb of the "Coffin Trail"! Underfoot conditions are generally good, particularly for those used to off-road running.

A carnival atmosphere is guaranteed for both spectators and competitors, with live music, race commentary, food and drink all available at the start and finish. So, whether you're new to trail running, an experienced athlete, or simply looking for an unforgettable day out in the Lake District, a family-friendly, festival atmosphere and some amazing trail running awaits you!

The Run Northumberland Cragside 10km takes place in the beautiful surrounding of the National Trust Cragside estate near Rothbury.

The race is officially measured and organised under UK Athletics Rules with a RUN BRITAIN race licence.

The traffic-free 10k course is on the carriage drive that encircles the picturesque house and estate developed by Tyneside industrialist and inventor Lord Armstrong. The race starts and finishes near the visitors centre, and is just over one full lap of the estate.

Gargrave is a beautiful village nestling in the Yorkshire Dales about 4 miles from the lovely market town of Skipton. It boasts, among many things, a fish and chip shop, a couple of very nice cafes, a couple of even nicer pubs, lots of accommodation and a Co-Op, oh and a Premier Inn for anyone wishing to stay.
Gargrave straddles the River Aire, and it has the Leeds and Liverpool Canal running through it. Gargrave is a popular tourist destination and is known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. It is also part of the Pennine Way.
The course is an out and back course, firstly going towards Skipton and then back to Gargrave and out towards the Dales and back (dependant on your distance). Underfoot is made up of some towpath but it is mainly grass and it is traily but very picturesque.
