The event will take place at The Park at Riverwalk and are expecting more than 500 runners and walkers! Were encouraging participants of all ages to dress as their inner superhero to support abused children living in foster care.

Teen Challenge has been the cutting edge solution to helping those who have life-controlling problems in Kern County for 49 years. Not only do they experience freedom from drug abuse but they also find a new life. Glow in the dark elements and novelties will guide you through the 5K race trail heading west that will start and finish at "The Park at Riverwalk". Registration is $30 per person or $120 per family (limit 5). Registration after April 1st and day of the event is $40 per person or $160 per family.1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be given to the winners in all age divisions for Men and Women separately. Concessions and novelty items will be available to purchase at the event. Concessions open at 5 pm, Registration & Check-in at 6:00 pm, and the race starts promptly at 7:30 pm. Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, April 26th, location TBD. All local Colleges, High Schools, School Teams, Sports Teams, Churches, and Youth Groups are encouraged and welcomed to participate or help volunteer.
his year's participants will not only receive a discount for each race by signing up for all three in advance, but the first 150 to register and then successfully complete all three events will receive all three of the items that will be featured for Distance Challenge participants. There will be separate registration for the series to sign up for all three races and receive discounted race pricing. Participants who sign up for each individual event and complete each event can still participate in the series challenge, but will not receive special pricing.
