Set an early alarm for this bucket list event around SF. Get an all-access pass to the SF sights, including the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf, and take up the challenge (expect hills - it's SF after all). Come for the finisher's medal and atmosphere of the on-course cheer stations.
All races start and finish in the Quarry Lakes. The marathon, half marathon and 10K have large out-and-back sections on the Alameda Creek Trail. The course is mostly gravel/fire trail with a very small portion of pavement at the beginning and end. Hills are nearly non-existent, so bring on the speed!
Choose from the fan favorite Half Marathon, a Hi-Fiving 5k or the NEW Sirena18 Mile Relay. We've got something for everyone to smile about.
Kick off spring with an annual Mermaid classic that features a 5k, 10k, half marathon, the Sirena18 mile, or the Sirena 18 mile (Relay) run or walk. The course is virtually flat as it follows a mix of dirt and paved trails. Enjoy the fresh air and positive vibes.

ACE Inspire Academy is a middle school in downtown San Jose that seeks to have all students recognize their extrordinary potential. We serve the under-served students in our community making them ready for high school and college. Your participation in the 5k shows our students that there are other people in the community that support them as well. Your registration fee is going right back into our schools to enhance our curriculum with new supplies and hands-on acitivities such as field trips and presenations.

This all-ages event will help raise awareness to the tragedy of suicide, help reduce the stigma associated with depression and mental illness, educate the community about available services, support local suicide prevention programs, and provide a safe place to heal for those who have lost loved ones to suicide as a community.

Rising up from the depths of Lake Chabot, the Bad Bass (a strangely kilt-wearing, bagpipe-playing Scottish bass with teeth) shows itself once again! Why is he Scottish? What is he doing in Castro Valley? How can he play bagpipes with his fin? We have no idea how to answer those questions. Why is he so bad-to-the-fishbone? Maybe he just knows how awesome the trails of Lake Chabot really are! The Ralph Appezzato Charity Event (R.A.C.E.) is a 5K (3.1 Mile) run and walk benefiting the Midway Shelter for Women and Children in Alameda, California. It starts at 9 AM; an hour before the Mayor's 4th of July Parade in front of the Lauren's Closet, 1420 Park Street, between Santa Clara and Central Avenues.

The Kiwanis New Year's Day Resolution Run is a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K run, and will be held over USA-TF 5K and 10K certified courses at Shoreline Park in Mountain View, CA. The event will be run through scenic shoreline parklands and on paved trails. Prizes and medals will be awarded. All participants will receive a special Finisher Ribbon! Event will also include music and post race refreshments.
All courses are on trails. While there are some hills, this event, like all Brazen Racing runs, is very friendly to first-time trail runners and experienced runners alike. Depending on the weather, all distances may include mud and creek crossings!
Walkers/hikers are welcome in all distances.
The Night Nation Run is the Worlds 1st Running Music Festival an ultimate blend of a Music Festival and a Fun Run. Experience a music filled course with Live DJs, Light Shows, Bubble Zones, Neon and Black Lights. Cross the finish line into an Epic Main Stage After Party featuring Top Headliner DJs.
The Mermaid Dash is a great way to introduce girls to the world of running. The fun run/walk allows girls to participate and experience the joy of crossing the finish line in a safe and supportive environment. Mermaid Dashers receive a medal, finisher necklace and post race food. Note: The dash entry fee does not come with a race shirt.
This 5K Run/Walk is fun for the whole family and we encourage you to dress up as your favorite holiday character or tradition. The race course winds through downtown San Jose and concludes at Christmas in the Park, where you can enjoy the festivities with Santa's milk and cookies!
The Fourth Sunday Runs are held every month (except March and June) on the fourth Sunday of the month. The distances offered are a 5K (once around the Lake), a 10K (two times around), and 15K (three times around).
Participation ribbons are given to all runners and place ribbons are awarded to the top runners, both male and female in ten year age groups. All those interested in running, whether beginner, walker, jogger, or competitive racer are welcome to join our monthly runs. Water is available to the runners and volunteers are present to assist runners at the start and finish lines.
