We run a 3.5-mile course at a very easy pace, weaving through El Prado, gardens, museums, and along the Zoo.We stop about 10 times during the run at best photo spots, and to learn about Balboa Park's fun facts and history.We end the tour with 5-7 minutes of "Yoga for Runners" stretching, and provide a complimentary hydration beverage.

This January event will be your post festive season target; something to entice you to pull on your running shoes on those cold winter days Choice of a fairly flat 5k or a challenging 10k run.
The race will start at Rancho Simi Park at 1765 Royal Ave, Simi Valley CA 93065 and run along the Arroyo bike path . Which is lined with beautiful trees for shade and makes a wonderful environment. The bike path runs through the center of Simi Valley and along the Arroyo Creek. This is still home to ducks and herons, (not cranes), who are soaking up the sun while playing in the gently flowing spring /summer time water. There will be Aid stations every 1.5 miles.

The 7th Annual Best Damn Race Safety Harbor 2019 features a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 5K + 10K Challenge on February 2, 2019. Best Damn Race is a running series created for runners by runners. Our goal is to provide a big race experience at a local race price. It doesnt matter if you are an elite runner, first timer, walker, or using a baby jogger, we want you to have the best DAMN race experience.
The date has been set for the 2nd of February 2019 and we are thrilled to have several sponsors come on board to ensure next years event is bigger and better than this years.
Camille who was an event organizer last year and her husband (former Blackcap cricketer) Shayne OConnor and their company Perspective Personal Solutions have taken over the Event Management. Our focus for the McArthur Ridge Runs the Ridge is to provide something that is fun, a challenge for all levels and provides a platform for you to achieve a personal goal surrounded by a supportive, encouraging and festival-like atmosphere.

The Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon is a runners favorite for its scenery and value. A fast and certified course through San Franciscos scenic Golden Gate Park, the race has been selected as Road Race of the Year by the Road Runners Club of America several times.
The 5K is a fast, downhill 3.1 mile course certified by USA Track & Field.
This year, in addition to the Half Marathon and 5K, there is a new 10K option.
After the race, follow the runners and walkers into the post-race area for food, drinks, free massages, and other offerings.

Many people have said that they would like to have had a go at Hell of the West Triathlon but have felt not quite ready to take on the heat, the distances and the flies.
The Hell of the West Headquarters have always been about putting on inclusive events, so after putting their heads together, they came up with 'Super Saturday'. Three races brand new Hell of the West races in addition to the Hell Kids Triathlon.

Chosen by our team, these are some of our favourite events for first-timers. 5k races & 10k races are perfect for beginners, they tend to be relatively flat (always check the elevation just in case) and there’ll usually be a great crowd to cheer you on.
