Commerce Township's 5K race takes place on the beautiful paved trail of Dodge Park #5 in Commerce Township! Please join us for this event, where all proceeds benefit the Michigan chapter of VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity). Donations will assist volunteers on clinic trips in over 30 countries, serving hundreds of thousands of patients, by providing free eye care and eye wear to the those in need.

The Brooksie Way races are named in memory of Brooks Stuart Patterson, the 28-year-old son of Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson. Chosen by our team, these are some of our favourite events for first-timers. 5k races & 10k races are perfect for beginners, they tend to be relatively flat (always check the elevation just in case) and there’ll usually be a great crowd to cheer you on.
