The Love Well 5k & Festival was created to be intentional in creating a way to bring larger scale awareness and fundraising for Memphis-based charitable organizations. One thing that makes this event unique is that typically each year the 5k will benefit a different Memphis-based charitable organization; an effort to spread the love around the city of Memphis.

Hope 5K

The HOPE 5K is NOW an annual fundraising event benefiting Oasis of Hope Community Development. For over 17 years we have led the charge in North Memphis. Our mission is to demonstrate Christ's love to an under-resourced community by elevating and improving the quality of neighborhood life through empowerment and partnerships. Your support will allow us to continue urban outreach efforts supporting local youth, forming new initiatives, supporting senior enrichment activities, and offering affordable housing opportunities.

#NFStrong 5K Run/Walk for Neurofibromatosis

#NFStrong events take place in communities nationwide. These inspiring events create strong bonds that build a supportive NF community. The goal of these strong communities is to rally together and become one great voice in finding effective treatments and an eventual cure for NF. The events are a great way to involve family and friends, meet others who are affected by NF, while raising awareness of this disorder and to create funding for NF research.Take your first strong stride towards a cure by finding, registering, and then fundraising for an event near you!

St. Judes Memphis marathon

The St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend is the single-largest one-day fundraising event for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, one of the world's premier pediatric cancer research centers. Registration fees help us put on the race, but if you'd like to help us reach our goal of $12.5 million for the kids of St. Jude, please donate or fundraise. While fundraising is not required for general registrants, all participants are given a fundraising page and other tools when they sign up.

SENSORY WORLD 5K

The Sensory World Memphis Autism and Special Needs 5K will benefit OPEN ARMS CARE MEMPHIS this year . This event began in 2013 and is now a popular family event that hundreds of families look forward to every fall. Runners and non-runners alike enjoy live music, delicious local food, the areas largest Autism Information & Resource Fair, and free Kid-Zone.

Forrest Spence 5K

The Annual Forrest Spence 5k is back. There will be a 5k for all ages including stroller division plus a 100 yard dash for kids 8 & under and 1 Mile Fun Run for kids 12 & under. There will be games, bounce houses, slides, food, awards, door prizes, and more.

Camp Good Grief 5K

This 5K benefits Camp Good Grief the Mid-Souths first childrens bereavement camp. The Camp Good Grief 5k will be a family fun event you will want to put on your calendar this year and years to come. We will have moon bounces, face painting, and games for the kids. Grilled hamburgers, cotton candy, and yummy treats will be served along with soft drinks and bottled water. This is truly an event for the entire family.

Whether you’re completely new to running or just getting back into the swing of things, we’ve got some great race recommendations to get you started. Chosen by our team, these are some of our favourite events for first-timers. 5k races & 10k races are perfect for beginners, they tend to be relatively flat (always check the elevation just in case) and there’ll usually be a great crowd to cheer you on.

Find the right running event for you

To keep motivated try to run with friends and to organise a race a few months away as something to work towards. Running as a sport is very inclusive, people love to chat and give a boost to those around them! Practice makes perfect so with the right training you can achieve anything. Start small and it won’t be long before you’re a total professional tackling the bigger races.
