Running is the world’s most accessible sport. Park runs, colour runs, 5k, 10k, half marathons, marathons and ultras — all you need is a pair of trainers and off you go. Running events are hugely popular on Let’s Do This and it’s a sociable sport, so get some friends involved and achieve something extraordinary.

If you’re starting small, the 5k and 10k events are great fun and definitely worth doing even if you’re training for a bigger challenge further down the line. Getting used to the atmosphere of an event is important. You’re so much more likely to hit a better time if there’s a crowd cheering you on, people in fancy dress and a big celebration at the finish line.

10k Races in Brighton September 2018

Its a 10k (6.2 Miles) around the undulating country lanes of Hellingly, Sussex. Accurately measured course with UK Athletics Road Race License. Run and Get your own time for 10k in race conditions. Organised by Hailsham Harriers one of the oldest Running Clubs in Sussex. Take the challenge to step up in distance after Race for Life and parkrun. Challenge your workmates to make up a team.

This will be the 36th year of the Half Marathon. We are proud and unique in presenting gold medals, silver and bronze medals.

The Barns Green Half Marathon is run on closed roads through the beautiful Sussex countryside, passing through the historic Christ's Hospital school. We have live music, food, entertainment, and a funfair at the start/finish. The undulating, double looped route is challenging, with a small section off-road.

Our very popular 10K route goes through Christs Hospital School, and last milometer is downhill.

5k Races in Brighton September 2018

A unique, fun, running with dogs event combining exercise with your best four-legged friends. Run or walk 5 kilometers through Stanmer Parks beautiful woodland. Walkers are also welcome to take part, this is an event inclusive for everyone who owns a dog.

Why simply walk your dog every day when you can take part in an event and earn yourself and your dog a matching medal! There will also be information/merchandise stalls for your dogs, food, and drink, and a huge collection of new friends for your dog(s) to meet and wag their tails at.
