Running events are hugely popular on Let’s Do This and it’s a sociable sport, so get some friends involved and achieve something extraordinary.

If you’re starting small, the 5k and 10k events are great fun and definitely worth doing even if you’re training for a bigger challenge further down the line. Getting used to the atmosphere of an event is important. You’re so much more likely to hit a better time if there’s a crowd cheering you on, people in fancy dress and a big celebration at the finish line.

10k Races in Cambridge October 2018

Standalone 10k is 30 this year! Event is going to held on Sunday 1st October 2017, 9.30am at Standalone Farm, Wilbury Road, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 4NJ incorporating the Hertfordshire Senior 10k Championships.

The race STARTS downhill on Wilbury Road. After a short sharp climb the course flattens as runners head towards the Grange Rd roundabout at 1K. A gradual incline takes runners past Norton Common up to the Norton Roundabout, then its flat though to the 3K mark at Norton Village.

Runners head out into the country, downhill from the Church, and then over 1 small rise to the DRINKS STATION at 5K. Turning left onto the A507 By-Pass at Stotfold, runners pass 6K before a small incline leads up onto Hitchin Road. At 7K its flat at first past the two new roundabouts. Between 8K and 9K two more undulations bring runners to the left turn at the top of Wilbury Road. The last Km is flat, then fast downhill, before runners turn left into the farm to finish

13th annual running of this mixed terrain 10k event around the village. Additionally a 2k children's fun run also to be held in the grounds of Granta Park again.

Cambridge Town and Gown is our autumn run of the series. The 2018 event will be the seventh year of the run. The scenic route takes you through the heart of Cambridge passing many landmarks, historic University College buildings and along the River Cam.

All of our runs our licenced by Run Britain and we're proud to be the recipient of a Bronze award for the Best 10k in East England by The Running Awards 2018.

If youre wanting to run your first, your fastest or your most orange 10k yet this is the race for you.

A 50k trail race, which will be run on good, flat, traffic free tracks. This should prove to be a fast course! Start and finish is at West Stow Country Park, Bury St Edmunds.

This event is CUPLESS so you need to carry a cup or other vessel to drink out of at the checkpoints. We don't believe in making you buy more plastic cups to save plastic so using your water bottle or soft flask is ok by us. We will have Jugs of water/coke/squash on the tables for you to fill up with. You will NOT be allowed to drink from a jug!
We will sell some foldable cups at registration 5 each.
The Stort 30 is a very pretty out and back 30 miles (15 each way) along the River Stort Navigation Channel in Hertfordshire.
