Running is the world’s most accessible sport. Park runs, colour runs, 5k, 10k, half marathons, marathons and ultras — all you need is a pair of trainers and off you go. Running events are hugely popular on Let’s Do This and it’s a sociable sport, so get some friends involved and achieve something extraordinary.

If you’re starting small, the 5k and 10k events are great fun and definitely worth doing even if you’re training for a bigger challenge further down the line. Getting used to the atmosphere of an event is important. You’re so much more likely to hit a better time if there’s a crowd cheering you on, people in fancy dress and a big celebration at the finish line.

After a year's break, we are pleased to take on the organisation of this popular run and introduce a 5km option too.

Beale Park really is a stunning location for an evening run - with parts of the course near the Thames and others through the woods. One not to miss.

The Marlow Fugitive Twilight runs are a new addition to the highly popular 2018 Fugitive Triathlon event. The course is a beautiful run along the River Thames and surrounding Marlow. Soak up the atmosphere at twilight when the sun starts to set and the moon and starts start to appear. A relaxed vibe along a relatively flat course.

Accurate & scenic 5km/10km. Race is chip timed chips with timing mats at both the start and finish, and all finishers will receive a bespoke medal.

10k is a great step up from our 5k events. Up the challenge and take part in a Race for Life 10k event. Walk, jog or run. Raise valuable funds for research. THIS IS BEATING CANCER.

The Oxford 10k route starts by taking the usual 5k route around the Park and City Centre's road and historic landmarks and then split off for an extra 5k. The extra 5k distance takes in the scenery of the countryside, college sports grounds, riverside and then returns back into University Parks for the finish by the Cricket pavillion.

Dont forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. They can stroll around the stalls and activities we'll have such as refreshments, a bouncy castle and face painting while waiting to cheer you through the finish.

This is a 5k suitable for all abilities. This is thousands of women uniting with one purpose. Walk, jog or run. Raise valuable funds for research.

The Oxford route begins in the scenic University Parks, where you will head out onto the historic streets of Oxford. The entire route is flat and mainly on pathways or road. Heading down Longwall Street, High Street, then proceeding under the Bridge of Sighs and along Parks Road, you will then re-enter the Park at Norham Gardens and finish your event to cheers outside the cricket clubhouse.

The Dixons Carphone Race to the Stones is a fully supported 100km challenge along the iconic Ridgeway. You can run it or walk it from the start line in Oxfordshire to the finish next to the 5,000-year-old stone circle at Avebury. Complete the 100km non-stop or break it into two days staying at our overnight basecamp.

The "Chiltern 50Km Challenge" is run on National Trails and Footpaths and has some excellent markings in the form of signposts or post discs. However, since it's made up of sections of these trails and paths the route will be comprehensively marked with signs and confidence tape. In addition, you will be given a map, which is designed to help on any tricky sections, to provide information on any route changes and to indicate where the checkpoints are. The event is supported by a course manager to maintain event safety and to manage any serious incidents. A fully qualified medical crew are in attendance, to give first aid and to manage any serious medical problems in cooperation with the emergency services.
