What you need to know about Running

Running is the world’s most accessible sport. Park runs, colour runs, 5k, 10k, half marathons, marathons and ultras — all you need is a pair of trainers and off you go. Running events are hugely popular on Let’s Do This and it’s a sociable sport, so get some friends involved and achieve something extraordinary.

If you’re starting small, the 5k and 10k events are great fun and definitely worth doing even if you’re training for a bigger challenge further down the line. Getting used to the atmosphere of an event is important. You’re so much more likely to hit a better time if there’s a crowd cheering you on, people in fancy dress and a big celebration at the finish line.

10k Races in Oxford June 2018

The Marlow Classic Twilight runs are a new addition to 2018. The course is a beautiful run along the River Thames and surrounding Marlow. Soak up the atmosphere at twilight when the sun starts to set and the moon and starts start to appear. A relaxed vibe along a relatively flat course.

Accurate & scenic 5km/10km. Race is timed using STUWEB chips with timing mats at both the start and finish.

Registration opens: 4.30pm
All races start: 6.30pm

The Chiltern Chase is a multi-terrain run, covering 5km, 10km or 15km. This popular course is based around the beautiful South Oxfordshire village of Ewelme. Runners enjoy picturesque bridleways and rugged trails of the Chiltern Way, accompanied by red kites overhead and occasional hare and deer.

Running for over 11 years, The Chiltern Chase has raised an incredible 77,000 for charity and is managed by an experienced committee and supportive marshals. Refreshments are provided by Ewelme School PTA, so join us in a great day out for both runners and supporters alike.

Starting on the fields behind Cedar Park School in Hazlemere this gorgeous off-road race explores the scenic countryside of the Grange Area Trust and is a wonderful community fun run.

5k for adults and 8 years+ (8-11yrs accompanied by an adult) and 1K Mini-Fun Run for 5-8 yrs

Funds raised will benefit Cedar Park School and The Grange Area Trust
