What you need to know about Running

Running is the world’s most accessible sport. Park runs, colour runs, 5k, 10k, half marathons, marathons and ultras — all you need is a pair of trainers and off you go. Running events are hugely popular on Let’s Do This and it’s a sociable sport, so get some friends involved and achieve something extraordinary.

If you’re starting small, the 5k and 10k events are great fun and definitely worth doing even if you’re training for a bigger challenge further down the line. Getting used to the atmosphere of an event is important. You’re so much more likely to hit a better time if there’s a crowd cheering you on, people in fancy dress and a big celebration at the finish line.

Set your pace - sprint, run or jog - just enjoy it!
Set at Rockingham, Europe's fastest racing circuit. A very fast course which is ideal for setting a PB or going for some end of season glory. This fantastic running event enjoys it's 5th year at a superb modern location after DUATHLON ROCKINGHAM. Free parking coupled with race HQ set in the pit garages and the race finish line in the pit lane this is going to be a classic event.
Suitable for all levels - no traffic - no potholes - no worries - just you & the smooth tarmac ahead! If you're looking for that next challenge to 10km, upping the distance to 10 miles, training for a half or full marathon, need to keep your winter training on track or you just want to smash your PB!
We know this is a FAST course. The Rockingham10 mile course record was created in November 2014 at a lightning speed of 52:29!! Will you take the chequered flag and set the course record or is it about completing a new milestone?
NAA County 10 mile Championship race. To be part of this race, enter online as normal. Then on the day of the race, once you have collected your number/timing chip, visit the NAA desk to register your intent to compete in the Championship.

HEADPHONES. Rockingham 10 is a closed circuit (road) race. Although we are on tarmac we have no traffic on the course. Therefore headphones are allowed, but we do advise that because you are on a course over 2 or 3 laps you do need to hear marshals instructions, so we do discourage the wearing of headphones. To confirm we will not be handing out any disqualifications for any person who does wear headphones.
CHILDREN. In this race the 5k runners share the racing circuit with 10k & 10mile runners. For safety reasons we have made the decision to limit the age of runners on the 5k to 8yrs and over.
