If you’re starting small, the 5k and 10k events are great fun and definitely worth doing even if you’re training for a bigger challenge further down the line. Getting used to the atmosphere of an event is important. Just a week after the Summer Solstice, the second leg of the 2018 Castle Run Series will take place at Cholmondeley Castle during the long, bucolic days of June. Cholmondeley Castle Triathlon event attracts thousands of competitors and supporters to the beautiful countryside of Cheshire. The race offers the quintessential Castle Run Series experience of competitive and fun racing, an epic castle backdrop and a stunning location.

Join us for our bigger and better 2018 Summer 10k and 1k kids fun run on Sunday 17th June at Colshaw Hall Country Estate near Knutsford, WA16 8TW. The race starts in the shadow of this beautiful grade II listed building in the Cheshire Village of Over Peover. The race snakes through closed leafy country lanes passing the iconic Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank. Runners will then return to Colshaw Hall for a stunning finish along the tree lined driveway.

Join thousands of women in the fight against cancer - enter one of hundreds of Race for Life fund-raising events taking place across the UK and help more people survive. This is a 5k suitable for all abilities. This is thousands of women uniting with one purpose. Walk, jog or run. Raise valuable funds for research. THIS IS BEATING CANCER.

The Buxton 5k course is a double lap route within the lovely Pavilion Gardens. The route is flat and mostly on paths making it accessible for all.

Don't forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. The course is largely open to spectators to watch and cheer you through the finish line. There may also be some extra activities and items to buy so please remember to bring some spare change.
