MJC 5K Run for Justice

The MJC 5k Run for Justice benefits the Milwaukee Justice Center, the self-help center in the Milwaukee County Courthouse offering assistance to those who cannot afford an attorney and are representing themselves in civil cases. The MJC utilizes over 350 volunteers to serve around 10,000 individuals in self-help forms assistance and brief legal advice services. The MJC is a partnership project between Milwaukee County Clerk of Courts, Marquette University Law School, and the Milwaukee Bar Association.

The Berry Big Run for the Kids is a 5K Run/Walk event that kicks off the annual Cedarburg Strawberry Festival. The respected run/walk draws over 525 participants who join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ozaukee staff and volunteers on a Saturday morning to help provide caring and safe friendships for children facing adversity in Ozaukee County. Last year, the event rose over $22,000 and provided children with the mentors they needed to experience educational success, have higher aspirations, greater confidence, better relationships, and stronger decision-making skills.

Milwaukee's PCHA Heart and Sole 5K Run/Walk

Join us at Miller Park for Milwaukees first annual Heart and Sole 5k Run/Walk benefiting Pediatric Congenital Heart Association (PCHA). Nearly 40,000 infants in the U.S. are born with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) every year. CHD is the most common birth defect and the leading cause of infant death due to birth defects. PCHA is a national non-profit with a mission to conquer CHD. We collaborate with patients, parents, providers and partner organizations to improve quality of life and outcomes through CHD education, support, research and awareness.

The Happy Birthday America 5k & 10k is a birthday celebration for America! The 5k & 10k run/walk will have patriotic music, and more red, white, and blue than you can imagine! The course starts and finishes in Estabrook Park. It cruises downhill along Estabrook Parkway before turning north on the paved Oak Leaf Trail. The 10k course completes the 5k loop, then continues along the Oak Leaf Trail, and will complete a 2nd loop. This is a fast and fun course youre going to love! After the race, everyone gets a piece of America's birthday cake!

On the route, you will pass Stoney Hill School, the home of Flag Day, through beautiful farm fields and into the village of Fredonia. The finish line is in beautiful Waubedonia Park.

The theme for this years event is Renewing Minds, Transforming Families. The event includes a kid's run, 1 mile run/walk and a timed 5K run/walk. There will also be a concurrent health fair held at Penn Park that will focus on various aspects of health and wellness. We invite walkers, runners, joggers, and rollers (baby strollers and wheelchairs) of all ages to come out and participate. The Cudahy Classic os one of the Badgerland Strider's longest running events. The event is a perennial RRCA State Championship and runners of all kinds find the course to be fun and interesting.
