Donner Lake is 2.7 miles long and 1/2 mile wide. The water is clear and clean with a maximum depth of 328 feet. West End Beach, operated by the Truckee Donner Recreation and Parks District, serves as the main venue. A sandy beach with majestic views of the surrounding Sierra Mountains awaits you.

Staged in beautiful Sonoma County and traversing through quaint communities like Geyersville and Healdsburg, IRONMAN 70.3 Santa Rosa draws not only triathletes, but their wine and food loving family and support crews back every year. The event is a ticket into the heart of the world-famous wine regions of the Napa and Sonoma valleys, and once you're there, you won't want to leave. There are B&Bs and boutique hotel options to suit every budget, as well as thousands of wineries, craft breweries, and farm-to-table restaurants for pre-race fueling and post-race celebrations. The race also offers a springboard for vacation itineraries including the San Francisco Bay Area, Santa Cruz mountains, and coastal redwood forests.
The split transition race begins at Lake Sonoma, nestled in the beautiful mountains of Northern California. The 1.2-mile swim is a single loop taking place in calm, clean Lake Sonoma. Athletes will transition to their bikes, setting out on the 56-mile course featuring gentle rollers as they ride through famous wine country and quaint towns. The City of Santa Rosa hosts transition two where athletes will begin a tree lined half-marathon along the Santa Rosa Creek trail. The finish line will take place at the new Courthouse Square park ideally located in downtown in Santa Rosa where great food and wine can be enjoyed by all spectators.
Preserving the best parts of the iconic IRONMAN Vineman 70.3 and improving the overall athlete experience, the course, which is less than 10 miles from the original venue, is a tour of Sonoma County's beautiful wine country and pastoral countryside, passing through famous grape growing regions including the Russian River Valley Region, Dry Creek Valley, and Alexander Valley.
Lake Logan returns. This triathlon festival, presented by Asheville School, includes the extremely popular Lake Logan Half (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run) returns this year as the only race on Saturday. The original Lake Logan International race (1500m swim, 24 mile bike, 10K run) will highlight the Sunday schedule along with the Lake Logan Sprint (500m swim, 12 mile bike, 5K run).

There are no other events of this caliber in the state. We feel this event will not only bring top athletes from across the country, it will also encourage a less experienced triathlete to participate in these next level events.

Storm the Fort Half (Half Storm) The Race for the Cannon enters its another year as a half distance event. A 1.2 mile wave start triangular swim course, followed by a rural rolling 56 mile bike ride (no major climbs) with three bottle exchanges. The run course will be two laps on the Kingston greenway and through downtown Kingston. Storm the Fort will offer a sprint option. Wave start point to point 600 meter swim, fairly flat (by East TN standards) 17 mile bike course, and an out and back around the Fort 4 mile run on the Kingston greenway. P
Just minutes from historic Williamsburg, VA and next door to the original Jamestown Settlement, the Patriots Triathlon is a great end of season race. With Long Course, Olympic and Sprint options available there is a distance for everyone. The swim takes place at beautiful Jamestown beach where you can watch Osprey catch their breakfast or see a pod of dolphins swim along the course. The bike course is flat, fast and parallels the Cap-Cap bike trail along Rt. 5 with the Long Course quickly getting into the rural parts of Charles City County. The run course is simply amazing as it winds through historic farmland and forest on a combination of bike paths and jogging trails. Be sure to stay for the weekend to experience all that the greater Williamsburg area has to offer, including the new Billsburg Brewery, the Jamestown Settlement and so much MORE.
An iconic North American triathlon for decades, Lake Placid offers the ultimate IRONMAN family vacation. It's also the home of one of the most challenging IRONMAN courses with its famous Adirondack climbs.
A this event, athletes will be treated to a course that's identical to the full-distance race, but each discipline will be one single loop of the course. Athletes will begin with a one-loop swim in clear Mirror Lake, with the famous sight line at the bottom of the lake to guide them. Transitioning in the Olympic Speed Skating Oval to the bike, the rolling mountain views provide a scenic backdrop to the one-loop, 56-mile ride. Back at the Oval, athletes will begin their 13.1-mile run through town and around the lake.

IRONMAN 70.3 SUPERFROG serves as a charity fundraising race: $175 of each general entry will be a tax deductible donation to the IRONMAN Foundation. The donation portion of this entry will be used to support military and local charities including: the Navy SEAL Foundation, the Optimists Club of Coronado and the Islander Sports Foundation.

From boating, fishing and swimming to campground facilities, Prairie Creek Reservoir presents over 750 acres of land to explore. This beautiful park is located approximately five miles southeast of Muncie, south of the White River. During your stay, be sure to visit one of many local attractions such as the Muncie Childrens Museum, Cardinal Greenway, Minnetrista Cultural Center, and the White River Greenway. Scottys Brewhouse is a favorite local spot and has a diverse menu with something for everyone to enjoy.
Athletes will begin with a 1.2-mile swim in the calm waters of Prairie Creek Reservoir. The 56-mile bike course takes athletes onto closed state highways for a flat ride through rural Indiana. The race finishes with a challenging run around the south side of the reservoir over rolling country roads.
The 2017 IRONMAN 70.3 Muncie will offer 50 qualifying slots to the 2017 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The Lake Tahoe Triathlon occurs annually at EdZBerg Sugar Pine State Park on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. Sugar Pine is truly one of Tahoes special lake side properties. Home of the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion this property features tall pines, a historic pier, beautiful grounds and spectacular beaches.
Sugar Pine State Park is one of the state parks systems most coveted camping destinations. The camp sites are very near the main venue. This is a great way to attend and participate in the Lake Tahoe Triathlon. Make sure to reserve a camping spot early!
