The iconic Avenger Triathlons return to Ragley Hall, near Alcester in Warwickshire for the sixth time.

The start and finish for all three distances will be in the magnificent Ragley grounds, which also provide activities for all the family. The swim takes place in the boating lake and is based on a 650m lap. From the lake, it is a short, slightly uphill run to transition. The bike routes then take competitors along the drive and out into the beautiful, rolling Warwickshire and Worcestershire countryside, returning to Ragley Hall via the imposing main gates and up the sweeping drive past the Hall itself. The run course, used for the first time in 2016, is based on a 5km lap through woodland tracks, gardens, historic outbuildings and fields of the estate.

This provides all the competitors with a chance to enjoy some of the spectacular scenery Ragley Hall has to offer. In 2017, competitors described the run course as tough but stunning, with great support all the way around.

The Middle Distance Triathlon fits the Island as though Mersea was created for such an event!

Distances are the same as the half Ironman. The swim starts on the Jetty and takes competitors along the beach. The Cycle will take competitors off the Island along scenic Essex country lanes and over Abberton Reservoir before heading back to the Transition to begin the final leg. The Run for this event is effectively half a Marathon in distance.

Our unique Middle Distance Triathlon finishes with the run, around Mersea Island, the run distance is the exact circumference of Mersea Island. This is a flat triathlon but the terrain is a mixture of road, sand and seawall making it a unique but challenging course.

This is a great event for the more experience triathlete but is also a challenge for endurance lovers. It is also a fantastic event to enter as a relay team. Corporate packages are available.

The 2017 Cholmondeley event attracted over 1500 competitors to the beautiful countryside of Cheshire, offering the quintessential Castle Triathlon Series experience of competitive and fun racing, an epic castle backdrop and a stunning rural location.

All races at the 200-year-old Cholmondeley Castle start by launching into an open-water swim in Deer Park Mere Lake, transitioning on to a bike route that circumnavigates Bickerton Hill, which is the southernmost tip of the Peckforton Hills. There will be one cycle lap for the Super Sprint and two laps for both the Sprint Plus and Olympic distances.

The run passes through the estate grounds, and has one lap for the Super Sprint and two laps for the Sprint Plus and Olympic races. Triathletes will finish their Cholmondeley race experience by sprinting down the main lawn to the finish line with Cholmondeley Castle as a fitting backdrop.

The Cholmondeley Castle Triathlon takes place in the beautiful grounds of Cholmondeley Castle, where the Cholmondeley family have resided since the Norman era of the 12th Century. The estate features extensive parkland covering 500 acres including two lakes, the larger of which, Deer Park Mere, is the setting for the open-water swim section of the triathlon.

To the south of Cholmondeley Castle, Tower Hill is the highest point of the run section, where athletes will be rewarded with panoramic views of the Beeston and Peckforton Hills, which they will have just covered on the undulating bike section, with the Welsh Hills looming in the distance.

The ninth Outlaw Triathlon is all set for summer 2018. One of Nottingham's key sporting events, the Outlaw has become (almost) even more legendary than Robin Hood, the Major Oak and Brian Clough!

Those who have conquered the Outlaw Triathlon are remembered in local folklore for having outwitted the Sheriff to complete a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run. As long as you can cover the distance in 17 hours or less, you will become an Outlaw. Six men have completed it every year since the Outlaw was launched in 2010; can they come back and finish it for a ninth time this year? And will you be joining them as a competitor or spectator?

The event begins with a mass swim start in the Regatta Lake at Nottingham's National Water Sports Centre. Its an out and back swim course which is easy to navigate. With transition right next to the swim exit you'll have every opportunity to set a super-quick time and even faster escape onto your bike.

The roads around Nottinghamshire are ideal for fast riding (time trial bike friendly) and there is only the odd short climb to challenge you, but dont underestimate the wind!

On returning to the National Water Sports Centre our merry men will rack your bike and see you out on to the flat run course around the lake and on to the River Trent path. You'll pass Trent Bridge, the City Ground, Wilford Suspension Bridge and the Victoria Embankment. The multi-lap course, which has been measured by UK Athletics, offers a feed station every mile or so, and is lined with supporters willing you all the way to the finish line.

On arrival at the finish you will receive a hero's welcome and be crowned a modern day Outlaw. Then you can enjoy the festival atmosphere with thousands of spectators cheering the athletes home until the sun finally sets on a spectacular day of racing.

Outlaw has been recognised as 220 Triathlon Magazine's Event of the Year in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 & 2017 and British Triathlon's Event of the Year in 2011.
