This is the Tour de Meow 5K - a charity run/walk to raise awareness in saving abandoned cats & kittens from euthanasia and finding them forever homes. Come out and join your fellow feline & animal welfare advocates as we run, walk, or pounce our way to the finish line. Participants will receive a 'Tour de Meow' T-shirt. There will be vendors and food as well as various activities. Also, you're more than welcome to bring your personal kitty - they just need to be on a harness. All proceeds from the event benefit MEOWco.org in supporting their Neonate Kitten Nursery, Adoption Programs, and many of their other life saving programs. Save the Kitties.
Kids 12 & UNDER are FREE and receive a runner bib they can decorate on their own. *Kids 12 & under don't receive a Tour de Meow T-shirt but can preorder one so they can match with you.

Both routes are out-and-back on Highway 190 and Mustard Canyon Road. Mustard Canyon is mostly unpaved and will be closed to traffic for at least 3 hours during the race.

The Fresno Donut Run will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley by donating a portion of the event proceeds.
The purpose of the Run for the Children 5k is to raise community awareness about Child Abuse and to raise funds to further the work of Breaking the Silence. Breaking the Silence is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising public awareness of child abuse realities and prevention techniques through survivor empowerment and community education. Please join us for Run for the Children... because we need YOUR HELP to bring about greater community awareness about child abuse and related issues.

The California Classic Half Marathon and the California Classic Century rides are on the same weekend again! Join us Saturday April 6th 2019 as we will host 2,000 riders as they get to experience the ONLY bike ride that closes a freeway! Then on Sunday April 7th 2019 we will host 3,000 runners in our Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay as participants run through African Adventure in Fresno Chaffee Zoo, with a grand finish along home-plate inside Chukchansi Stadium. Or choose our Rock and Run 5k, it doesn't go through the Zoo, but has all of the other benefits of the Half Marathon.
Teen Challenge has been the cutting edge solution to helping those who have life-controlling problems in Kern County for 49 years. Not only do they experience freedom from drug abuse but they also find a new life. Come and join us "Light up the Night" on Saturday, April 27th. Glow in the dark elements and novelties will guide you through the 5K race trail heading west that will start and finish at "The Park at Riverwalk". Registration is $30 per person or $120 per family (limit 5). Registration after April 1st and day of the event is $40 per person or $160 per family.1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be given to the winners in all age divisions for Men and Women separately. Concessions and novelty items will be available to purchase at the event. Concessions open at 5 pm, Registration & Check-in at 6:00 pm, and the race starts promptly at 7:30 pm. Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, April 26th, location TBD. All local Colleges, High Schools, School Teams, Sports Teams, Churches, and Youth Groups are encouraged and welcomed to participate or help volunteer.
Both the Marlette 50K and 10 Miler are RRCA Nevada State Championship Events!
The Marlette 50K is a truly adventurous romp through some of planet earths most scenic and challenging trails. Based at Spooner Lake in Lake Tahoe Nevadas State Park the run features 30 miles of epic trail and view. Think prime Sierra single track and add in 360 degree panorama views of Lake Tahoe, the Carson Valley and Range. Marlette Lake lies in the middle of the course and if youre heating up during the run feel free to take a plunge.
Join the fun for the 2nd Annual Race the Peak trail run at China Peak Mountain Resort. Choose from the 1-mile brutal uphill race to the peak, 10k run, Half Marathon, or 50k Ultra Marathon. The 10k and Half Marathon courses will be challenging but beautiful! The 50k race will start with the 1-mile uphill race since this is the first mile of the 50k. All 50k runners will automatically be entered into the 1-mile uphill race and will be eligible for awards/prize money in both events.
