This exciting and hilly 10k takes runners through the panoramic vail valley as they twist and glide through mixed terrain course. Participants will take in stunning views of the mountainside and nearby lakes whilst scorching through 444 meters of elevation, a worthy challenge for all.

Here are the distances available for 10k Spring Runoff

Route information
The course begins at Mountain Plaza at 9000 feet and takes runners up away from the main town area before a brief downhill section until they reach the first aid station. Participants then continue on a straight path towards the second aid station.
After this, entrants will follow a twisting, wooden section and hug the Lionshead area before then following towards the final aid station which is near a panoramic lake.
Participants will continue on towards the Mountain Plaza and end their race at the start/finish area.

Take the I-70 which runs through Vail and turn off at the Val Village Welcome Center and find the Mountain Plaza.
Parking
Parking is available outside the Colorado Snowsports Museum and Hall of Fame.

There will be awards given to the top-performing participants at the event. Details will be provided closer to the day of the event. The categories are defined as follows: 12 & under – Boys & Girls 13 – 14, 15 – 16, 17 – 18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69,70+.
Prize Purses
The prize purses are as follows; m/f 1st – $2,500, 2nd – $1,500, 3rd – $1,000, 4th – $500, 5th – $250.
