Route information
The course takes participants up a 3,257 vertical foot hike on the Aspen Mountain trail after starting at Gondola Plaza. There is beautiful scenery to entertain participants in this challenging event. Those competing in the event virtually can complete the summit on a mountain of their choice.

Ride For Life
Participants can ride the Silver Queen Gondola to the top of Aspen Mountain, this includes access to the afterparty at the Sundeck and skips the steep hike!
Post-race party
The post-race party will take place at the Sundeck Restaurant. There is live music, giveways, an award ceremony, and dinner provided by The Little Nell.
Age Requirements
There are no age restrictions for the event, meaning fun for all of the family.
Swag
All participants will receive a 2022 Summit for Life T-shirt and neck buff.
Fundraising
All fundraising for the event will go towards the Chris Klug Foundation, which increases registration for organ and tissue donation.
All participants have a minimum fundraising commitment of $100, those that fundraise more than the minimum amount will be entered into the raffle. Entries will be increased for each $25 raised over $100m, this rule applies to the virtual race and in-person race. Those that do not reach the $100 fundraising minimum will be charged the remaining funds.
Awards
The top 3 Male and Females in the in-person race will be rewarded alongside the top senior (70+) and top child (12 and under).
The top Male and Female, senior and top child in the virtual race will be rewarded.
The top finishing team and the top fundraising team will be rewarded.
Raffle Giveaway
Prizes for the raffle held post-race will include a round of golf for 4 at River Valley Ranch, a Raft trip for 2 through Blazing Adventures, a Gift card to Carbondale Beer Work, a 1 Night Stay at 10th Mountain Division Huts, a Gift card to Bristlecone, a bottle and Tour of Marble Distillery and Weekend tickets to the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival.
